Foot Mercato are reporting that Rennes are ready to accept Bayern Munich’s €30m offer for striker Mathys Tel (17), whilst the Breton club are already actively searching for a replacement.
Tel made only 10 appearances for Rennes last season, but his appearances for the club, as well as his five goals in six appearances for the France U18 side have caught the attention of the German champions. Having already refused two offers from Bayern Munich, Rennes are ready to accept the third.
Some “final details” still need to be sorted before the deal is officialised, but according to Foot Mercato, Tel has already cleared his locker at Rennes.

To replace Tel, Rennes have lined-up Caen forward Norman Bassette (17). However, Rennes will face European-wide competition for his signature. Frankfurt, Torino and Lens are all interested in the player, who has only made one first-team appearance for the Ligue 2 club. He did, however, score five goals in five games in the Gambardella Cup.
