Baron Corbin Takes Shots at Internet Fans Over AEW Jericho Win

Baron Corbin took a shot across the wrestling lines after last night’s All Out, firing at the “dumb smarks” who champion AEW. As you can see in the below screenshots, Corbin posted a comment on an Instagram post which was questioning the wisdom of Chris Jericho, who is 49, winning the AEW World Championship when WWE garners criticism for putting their older talent on top.
In response to that post, Corbin said, “All of these smarks have hated everything we do and complained about every detail that now they are forced to love everything these guys do even when it shows how dumb they really are.”

Jericho defeated Adam Page to win the championship in the main event of last night’s show.

Update on Jake Hager’s agreement with AEW

Since making his debut with All Elite Wrestling, Jake Hager has yet to work a match.
Hager’s agreement states he cannot wrestle until after his fight for Bellator to avoid the risk of injury.
Jake Hager’s next match for the MMA promotion is against Anthony Garrett on 10/25 at the Moegan Sun Casino.
Hager’s current agreement has him work television every Wednesday for All Elite Wrestling, and train Thursday – Monday. Hager would also have time off Saturday’s for All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view events.

Mandy Leon Posts Gogo Dancing Video

Well, this is a nice way to spend a Monday afternoon. Mandy Leon posted a video of her workin’ it as a Gogo Dancer from back in the day before she got into wrestling. Apparently, some wrestlers felt it shouldn’t be online. She disagrees. We disagree too. Encore, encore!

Update on Drew McIntyre’s Injury Status

As we reported earlier this week, Drew McIntyre has been out of action in WWE after he underwent minor surgery, but is said to be healed and waiting doctor clearance before he can return. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirms this, but notes that the surgery was not related to anything “muscle or bone related.”
McIntyre was reportedly sick for a few weeks and kept it to himself to keep working. On the day he did his King of the Ring match with Ricochet (August 26), he could “barely get out of bed.” He thought he was simply dealing with the flu or something similar and wanted to work through it. After going to Mexico for a promotional tour, he was told by WWE to see a doctor. He was ordered into surgery three hours later after his diagnosis.
He’s fine now and should be cleared soon.Click Here:

Becky Lynch “Fined: for Striking a Referee

Becky Lynch will be paying the piper — in storyline, of course — for striking the referee during her match with Sasha Banks at Clash of Champions. WWE announced on Sunday night that Lynch was fined $10,000 for “inadvertently striking a referee” during the match. The announcement continues:
The Man had intended to deliver the chair strike to The Boss but ended up hitting the referee instead. After the referee went down, the title match descended into chaos, as the two rivals took their brawl to the concourse.
Stay tuned to WWE digital platforms for any further updates.
