Hwang Ui-jo on Nantes shortlist to replace Randal Kolo Muani

L’Équipe report today that agent Mogi Bayat is working on bringing in a replacement for Randal Kolo Muani at Nantes, with the French youth international leaving for Eintracht Frankfurt on a free this summer.

The South Korean international was one of the few bright spots in a catastrophic season for Bordeaux, scoring 11 goals as his team went down with a 20th-place finish.

A potential transfer nevertheless appears complicated for Les Canaris, with Bordeaux asking for €8m and Hwang himself having other oppportunities to leave Les Girondins.

Another striker plying his trade at the Marine et Blanc, M’Baye Niang, is also being looked at, although he similarly has other options, namely interest from Spain’s Almería as well as an unnamed Turkish side.

Kolo Muani, who leaves Nantes after a 13-goal season that culminated in a Coupe de France win, could also be followed out the exit door by Nigerian forward Moses Simon, who is being linked with a move to Nice.
