Speaking as a special guest on Téléfoot this morning, OGC Nice President Gauthier Ganaye discussed the Ligue 1 side’s upcoming summer window and confirmed interest in Olivier Giroud (Chelsea) and Rémi Oudin (Reims).
“[Giroud] is coming to the end of his contract, he is still performing well at his age. Why not, I will tell you that it is possible… [But] very expensive.”
“With Gilles Grimandi and Patrick Vieira, we have defined the technical profile for the different positions that we are looking to strengthen. So today, we know the 4 or 5 players that interest us in that position (centre forward). I am not going to give you names though.”
TF1 claims that Nice’s attacking priority is Clermont forward Florian Ayé, who has scored 17 goals in Ligue 2 this season.
On Reims’ attacking sensation Rémi Oudin, Ganaye added:
“Yes, because of the season he is having, he is interesting everyone.”
