Paris Saint-Germain have officially confirmed the signing of young Portuguese attacker Goncalo Guedes from Benfica for around £25M.
The 20-year-old joins the French champions on a four-year-deal and will immediately join up with the first team.
Guedes had been very sought after for a few years with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal interested but the possibility of first team football under Unai Emery was too good to turn down.
Guedes, 20, had been with former club Benfica since 2009 and made his debut in the 2014/15 season before slowly becoming one of the most exciting prospects in Europe.
The Portuguese international can plat anywhere across the front line and will likely provide competition for Lucas Moura on the left hand side which isn’t good for the likes of Jese and Jean-Kevin Augustin.

The price tag on Guedes may be a pressure situation for him, but with the right guidance and a good run of form, he will likely adhere himself to the Parisiens.
