RMC Sport report that 21-year-old Senegalese forward Bamba Dieng could be sold by Marseille before the end of the January window, with OM now in a position where they feel they need to make a major player sale to balance the books before the month comes to an end.
Dieng, who recently signed an extension until June 2024, is currently at AFCON with Senegal.
West Ham United and Crystal Palace have made enquiries, but it is Newcastle United and Burnley who are pushing most aggressively in recent hours.
Marseille are in a place where they would seriously consider offers of €10m guaranteed and more. OM have enquired for Udinese winger Gerard Deulofeu as a possible replacement, but talks are not advanced.
