Adama Diakhaby will join Nottingham Forest on loan with an option to buy tomorrow

L’Équipe confirm reporting from Sky Sports earlier today that 23-year-old French striker Adama Diakhaby will shortly complete a loan with option to buy move to fellow Championship side Nottingham Forest from Huddersfield Town.

Sabri Lamouchi’s discourse was enough to convince Diakhaby to join Forest’s promotion push over other offers including one from Ligue 1 side Amiens.

Diakhaby is due to arrive in Nottingham tomorrow to undergo a medical ahead of the move.

The player’s entourage insists that PSG are lying and that Cavani has no injury, despite Les Parisiens announcing that he had a groin problem and this was why he missed out on the midweek trip to AS Monaco and will also be absent against FC Lorient tomorrow.

The player wants to leave this month for Atleti, but PSG are remaining true to their word & blocking his exit until the summer, with many on the board feeling that the Uruguayan international has an important role to play in the second half of this campaign.

Tino Kadewere agrees personal terms with Lyon; deal imminent

Local outlet Paris-Normandie report tonight that 24-year-old Zimbabwean attacker Tino Kadewere has agreed personal terms with Lyon ahead of an imminent €15m transfer from Ligue 2 side Le Havre that is widely expected to take place in the coming days.

Le Havre and Lyon representatives are expected to meet on Monday or Tuesday next week to agree on the final details in order to conclude the transfer.

HAC had begun this month seeking a deal for the Ligue 2 top scorer that would allow them to profit from his services back on loan until the end of the current campaign, but as Lyon President Aulas’ latest offer, when you include bonuses, meets the €15m demand that President Volpe made if the player was to go permanently and immediately this month, that position has changed.

Kadewere is pushing for the move to happen now, and HAC are unhappy with OL having already agreed personal terms with the player.

Final details, Tino to Lyon has never seemed closer.

Speaking in an interview with Le Parisien, 34-year-old Fenerbahce central defender Adil Rami confirmed his desire to leave the Turkish club and set himself a lofty ambition of making Didier Deschamps’ squad for EURO 2020.

“With my entourage, we are listening. We receive a lot of calls from the Middle East, for example. Why not France though? It would please me to show that I am still here, in my country. Nothing is impossible, I continue to dream about why not making it to EURO 2020… I do not want to play in Ligue 2. I am a real leader, I can bring things to a defence. I hear the critics and I want them to swallow their words.”

Lille have confirmed that 19-year-old Timothy Weah has suffered a hamstring injury setback last night in his first competitive match in 6 months. The player had been on the pitch for just 10 minutes vs Marseille before no longer being able to continue.

The United States international sustained an injury in the area that had previously been causing him trouble and which kept him out for nearly half-a-year. Today, Les Dogues confirmed that Weah has suffered a hamstring tear.

LOSC have not provided a timeline for the teenager’s return, but confirmed earlier today in a press release that they will work with the player to develop a special regime to ensure that he does not suffer the same fate upon his next return to competitive matches.
