Mic’d up rugby players should be made mandatory after this

A COUPLE OF months ago Australian International Christian Leali’ifano showed us the cool new feature of mic’ing up rugby players, and it’s made a brilliant return.

Australian rugby show Rugby HQ got jack of all trades Karmichael Hunt to strap on the microphone this time round during the NRC Championship, and the results were brilliant.

Hunt, who has played at the highest level in rugby league and Aussie Rules was in action against Perth Spirit for his side Brisbane City as the inaugural champions got off to a flier with a 29-16 win.

Hunt even got onto the scoresheet with a try, and it looks even better when you see how far back from the runner he was when he was calling for the ball.

Also, it’s pretty cool to see him chatting to the spectators on the sideline at the end of the game.
