Ligue 1 21/22, Round 33 – 20/4/22
MONACO – 1 (Golovin 45)
Alexander Nübel, 5
Ruben Aguilar, 5
Benoît Badiashile, 7 – This was a stoic and organized defensive display as he handled Delort and Dolberg with ease. His astute positioning and heading ability were key to Monaco’s clean sheet in a crucial win.
Axel Disasi, 5
Caio Henrique, 5
Aurélien Tchouaméni, 5
Youssouf Fofana, 6
Vanderson, 6
Aleksandr Golovin, 7 – His inclusion in the side has added more balance and vision of late and a deft reverse ball that put Ben Yedder in before the break should have equalled an assist to add to his close range opener.
Wissam Ben Yedder, 4 – Despite some lethal recent form, his finishing was erratic here and he should have given Monaco a more comfortable lead but wasted three major chances thanks to a weak finish when put in on Benitez before half time, mistiming a presentable headed chance and hitting the post after the break.
Kevin Volland, 4
Others: Martins 5, Boadu 5, Jakobs 5.
NICE – 0
Walter Benítez, 4
Jordan Lotomba, 5
Flavius Daniliuc, 4
Jean-Clair Todibo, 4
Melvin Bard, 4

Mario Lemina, 3 – He was unable to impose himself in midfield and was subbed after an hour having missed a free header at 0-0 and his hesitation on the edge of the area nearly cost Nice a goal early on.
Khéphren Thuram, 6
Hicham Boudaoui, 3
Bilal Brahimi, 6 – His first start was a lively one for the highly-regarded but little seen forward and was the only source of creativity during much of the first half with his pace and skill but, aside from one precise corner for a Lemina header, his deliveries were often wayward.
Kasper Dolberg, 4
Andy Delort, 4
Others: Rosario 5, Kluivert 5, Gouiri 5, Amavi 5.
